EVERY March there is an international day of prayer when women from across the world pray for various countries.

Last year they prayed for North Korea, this year they are praying for Cuba.

Port Shepstone Baptist Church will also be joining the world in prayer on 4 March at 10am. Alet Grubb from the church invited other churces to join in the prayer.

"During the programme ladies of various churches and religions will participate.

“This is the one day that denomination does not count," said Grubb.

She received guideles from the Woman’s World Day of Prayer office detailing how the service should be done.

"All over the world, the same theme will be observed and this year the theme is ‘Receive Children, Receive Me’.

Grubb extended an invitation to women all over the South Coast to join the prayer and share fellowship over a cup of tea and treats.
